Junkstock, a well-known festival for vendors to sell their antiques and handmade goods, is opening up in Waterloo on the weekend of September 27th.

It is a very popular event that is still successful and attracts hundreds of antiquarians , even after being hit by the devastating tornado in early May of 2024.

Early May, only three farm houses were left standing at Junkstock and the arena’s roof was torn off. Students and volunteers helped pick up debris and bring back Junkstock after the first weekend.

Now Junkstock is still up and running successfully and opening back up the weekend of September 27- 29th and October 4th- 6th.

Around 250 vendors come to sell their goods, ranging from all over NE, CO, IL, AZ, MO, etc. Expected products can be clothing, jewelry, dog treats, candies, candles, antiques, and more.

Not only can you expect product vendors to occupy your time, there are also more than 25 different food vendors, in all different varieties to fulfill your cravings.

Being one of the best vintage festivals in the country, the tickets are still a reasonable price. A general admission ticket is $15, a pass that is valid for three days or the weekend pass is $25, and the early bird ticket is $35.

Junkstock is a memorable festival that is recommended to go to at least once in your life. The vendors, food, and experience is what makes the Omaha community more funky and fun, as intended by the creator of Junkstock.
