It is everyone’s favorite time of the year again, when tank tops slowly turn into hoodies and sweaters. Vala’s is back for its 40th year anniversary and many students at Elkhorn High are excited for the different fall foods and the fun activities. 

“ I like all the food and the different rides you can go on,” sophomore Lulu Lary said. 

 The activities at Vala’s are endless. There are multiple food places, games, and different rides. Students are ready to see any new additions to the gaming areas or any new rides. 

Many students revealed how the delicious food was a reason why they were excited to come back this year. The food at Vala’s draws people in with the variety of choices. Many students are happy to get the chance to taste it again especially with the new foods this year including the pumpkin lemonade and pretzel charcuterie board. 

“I’m going this weekend and I’m most excited for the cookies,” sophomore Abbie Schiefelbein said.

Vala’s is also known for the fun rides and the game areas. 

“I am excited to ride the little cars because it’s fun to go on with my friends and they can go fast,” sophomore Brooklyn Ballan said.

This is only one of the many rides and activities that they offer at Vala’s. New rides are also coming out this year for the 40th year anniversary, one of them being called “Freya’s Egg Spinners”. The ride involves around seven carts that are on a platform and they rotate around fast.  

Vala’s is bringing a lot of excitement and opportunities for lots of great memories this fall. It is only the beginning of the enjoyable time there and lots more to come this year. Get ready for new rides, new food, and endless amounts of fun this fall at Vala’s.

Many people are ready for the energy that is always floating around at Vala’s. Happiness is always in the air and there is never a dull moment. Students at Elkhorn High are ready this fall to feel the enjoyment again.

 “The environment at Vala’s is always fun,” Ballan said. “I’m always happy to be there.”
