Black Lives Matter in Omaha

Omaha joins many other cities nationwide in holding protests against racism.

June 12, 2020

In the weeks following the death of George Floyd, protests have broken out in every state in the country, as well as on other continents. In Omaha, the subsequent death of James Scurlock has prompted many locals to take to the streets to protest police brutality, systemic racism, and other race-centric issues ingrained in society today.
