The new Fortnite seasons bring back many nostalgic memories for its old users. Many Elkhorn High students played the new and exciting Fortnite season that came out Friday, November 3rd. The new season consisted of many of the old maps and inventory items from past seasons.

“I think the new season is quite good and very OG,” junior EJ Mataele said.

The new Fortnite season brings back a lot of nostalgia for many original or OG players of the game. Many locations, like Salty Springs and Tilted Towers, are back in the game.

“My favorite place to land is Tilted Towers because it has a lot of players,” freshman Kellen Wilt said.

Many players came back in style, loading in with their old skin or new skins.

“My favorite skin is lynx because it is awesome skin,” junior EJ Mataele said.

Many memories are filling in with the new season arriving, with many players landing back to their old spots or even going back to where they started.

“My favorite memory was the Travis Scott concert,” sophomore Reid Stec said.

Many players, in fact, were not happy with the new season because their favorite landing spot or inventory item was not there or no longer available.

“They should really bring back Moisty Mire and double pump,” sophomore Kevin Kubicek said.

Fortnite is a game almost everyone has played as kids and now that they are older and matured it brings a new perspective and nostalgia to the game. Many people have started playing season one or three.

“I started playing in chapter one season three. I was super young, but I still remember everything about it,” sophomore Jakob Beyer said.

Many have played since they were young.

“The game is a lot different than winter of 2018,” senior Matthew Faltas said. “I haven’t really played it since.”

This new season has brought lots of excitement to the Fortnite community and I am excited to hop on the game that was my childhood. The new season has brought back lots of memories for many of its original users and many are excited to hop back on the battle bus.
