Astroworld Review

Connor Wieseman, Reporter

After waiting since May of 2016, rapper Travis Scott finally dropped his album “Astroworld” this summer. After listening to his whole album, I now have many new favorite songs.
The album includes “Carousel”, “Sicko Mode”, “No Bystanders”, and “5% Tint”. I believe this album has lived up to the hype and the expectations fans had. The album is mainly songs to “turn up” to. For those who don’t know, Travis Scott, real name Jacques Berman Webster II, is an American rapper. He’s been known for his famous for his albums such as “Days Before Rodeo”, “Rodeo”, and “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight”. These albums include popular songs such as “Goosebumps”, “Antidote”, “Beibs in the Trap”, and many others.
Astroworld has so far had fantastic ratings. As of right now, three songs from the album are in the United States Top 50 Chart on Spotify, with “Sicko Mode” being ranked at number two. Also on iTunes, “Sicko Mode” is ranked number twenty seven out of two hundred top songs.
I am a big fan of Travis Scott and Astroworld. I am really looking forward to what Travis Scott has coming up in the future.
