Elkhorn Seniors sign Letters of Intent on November 13th, signing day at EHS.

Elkhorn High School held their college signing day November 13th. Twelve seniors from seven different sports signed their National Letter of Intent. Senior track state champion Lexie Gilbert signed to run track at Northwest Missouri State.

I’m really excited for the opportunity I will have for the next 4 years as I continue my track career in college,” Gilbert said.

Senior Kyler Beekman signed to play baseball at Doane University.

I’m pretty excited; it’s a good opportunity,” Beekman said. “I’m really looking forward to getting on campus and starting to work with the team, and I think they have some good things going on down there and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Jaiden Thompson- Soccer for Wayne State College

Sinai Bernal- Soccer for Bellevue College

Claire Burford- Volleyball for South Mountain Community College

Sydney Cole- Swimming for Florida State University

Payton Cooley- Soccer and Softball for Doane University

Emma Crouch- Volleyball for University of Missouri-Kansas City

Trey Frahm- Baseball for Kansas State University

Maddy Meehan- Basketball for Maryville University

Sydney Nuismer- Softball for University of Nebraska at Omaha

Alexis Thomsen- Soccer for University of Nebraska at Lincoln

Seniors can also sign letters of intent during the spring signing period which runs from April 14-20, 2020.
